The Zillertal offers holiday makers many sporting activities away from the slopes enabling you to enjoy winter in the valley. One of these activities is tobogganing. There are several, flood-lit, natural toboggan runs in the Zillertal.
The greatest tobogganing fun can probably be had in the Zillertal on the flood-lit toboggan run in Hainzenberg. With a 7 km toboggan run and 600 m altitude difference, you can reach the start with a gondola. Right next to the base station of the Gerlossteinbahn is the toboggan centre. Along the toboggan run there are several huts, making an ideal place to stop for a bite to eat. Take a break and enjoy delicious food and a glass of wine. If you don’t have your own toboggan, you can rent one on site for a fee.

On the flood-lit toboggan run you travel over 1.5 km downhill. The start is not reachable by lift, but the remarkable scenery and the amazing descent make the effort worthwhile. Toboggans are available to hire at the car park Hochfügen.
At 1.5 km in length, the flood-lit toboggan run at Gattererberg is one of the shorter runs, but the beautiful landscape and amazing scenery turn it into a unique experience.
Probably one of the most beautiful toboggan runs in the Zillertal can be found in Goglhof in Fügenberg. The flood-lit, 3.5 km run is regularly prepared with snow machines, guaranteeing fun on your toboggan. The start can be reached by car, where you can also hire toboggans and find a hut for a refreshments.
The 5.5 km long toboggan run Spieljoch starts at the top station and ends at the middle station. The toboggan hire is at the top station at Intersport Bründl and can be returned at the middle station of the Spieljoch lift. Daily from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
Wonderful views of the peaks of the Zillertal Alps accompany you on the 3 km long decent. The un-lit toboggan run is even a challenge for an experienced tobogganist.
