ENJOYABLE MOMENTS IN THE HOTEL POST

The Hotel Post in Kaltenbach stands for enjoyable moments in the most welcoming surroundings. Treat yourself to an extensive breakfast from the buffet with fresh rolls and bread, Austrian coffee and high quality products from the region. We would especially like to emphasise our organic corner. In the afternoon you can enjoy coffee and cake from our in-house patisserie or a traditional “Kaiserschmarrn” served on our sun terrace.

 

Every evening, the highlight of our luxury board awaits you: the 5 course gourmet menu for connoisseurs. We serve excellent starter variations and have four main courses for you to choose from every day, including a vegetarian recommendation. On our stone buffet you will find a selection of starters, crisp salads with wonderful dressings, local cheese from the cheeseboard.

Our gourmet-restaurant promises plenty of pleasurable moments for our palate. Hotelier Benedikt learnt his trade in a French noble restaurant, awarded with 3 Michelin stars – today he creates delicacies of up-market cuisine in his own house!

Chef Thomas has been cooking at the Hotel Post with a lot of passion since 2001. His motivation and passion are unbridled, his creativity knows no bounds. "The best is just good enough", according to this motto he spoils our guests anew.

Almost reverently, the bottle is taken from the shelf and elegantly opened. Matthias carefully pours the drop, the glass is swirled around, and you sniff the fine drop with pleasure. Then the first sip touches the palate and the taste buds smile. If you want to lure boss Matthias out of his reserve, you need the code word "WEIN". Impressive expertise guaranteed!
