Off-piste, you can discover the fairytale winter landscape of the Zillertal Alps on winter hiking trails, while snowshoeing, ice skating, cross-country skiing, and tobogganing.

You can conveniently purchase your ski pass for the Ski Optimal Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski area or the Zillertal Superskipass directly at reception – no queuing at the ticket office, no stress in the morning.
Right on our doorstep is the top ski resort Ski Optimal Hochzillertal-Hochfügen with over 90 kilometres of slopes. But that's not all: there are four large ski resorts throughout the Zillertal valley, including the snow-sure Hintertux Glacier, where you can ski all year round.

Our ski resort tips for winter
The Zillertal Super Ski Pass is your ticket to all four ski areas in the Zillertal – including Hochzillertal-Hochfügen, Spieljoch, Zillertal Arena and Mayrhofen. It offers access to over 500 kilometres of slopes and also includes free use of all ski buses connecting the ski areas. You can conveniently purchase your ski pass directly at our reception.
Yes, right next to the Hochzillertal valley station – just a few minutes' walk from the hotel – there are several professional ski schools for children, beginners and those returning to the sport. Private lessons and special snowboard courses are also available. Booking is easy and can be done on site or online.
