The Hotel Post in the centre of Kaltenbach offers winter sports enthusiasts the very best infrastructure: the location of our hotel is outstanding - just three minutes from the valley station of the Hochzillertalbahn. The gondola lifts take our guests right into the heart of the skiing fun. 90 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes await you in the Hochfügen-Hochzillertal ski area.
In addition to steep slopes, the ski area also has gentle slopes for beginners. You can learn to ski in group courses or individual lessons. Trained ski instructors ensure that you are guaranteed to have a great time on one or two boards. Advanced skiers can also improve their technique at the ski school.
The Hochzillertal ITS ski school and the OPTIMAL ski school are based at the Kaltenbach valley station. Group courses for young people and adults take place in the beginners' ski area throughout the season. A separate children's ski school ensures that even the youngest children discover the fun of skiing and quickly feel at home on the magic carpet. The Hochzillertal ski school runs Bobo's Kinderclub with its own Kinderland right at the top station of the Hochzillertal lifts. A large play area is available for the youngsters.

TIP: CHILDCARE IN THE SKI AREA
In the ‘Zwergerl Club’ guest kindergarten, little winter holidaymakers from 3 months to seven years are looked after by loving carers while their parents enjoy some time out on the slopes.
At the valley station in Kaltenbach, you will find several sports shops where you can purchase modern and well-maintained sports equipment at favourable conditions. As safety is our top priority, our own service centres carry out technical checks and regular maintenance of skis and bindings.
