Tobogganing near Kaltenbach

In the Zillertal, there are also many opportunities for holidaymakers to do sports and enjoy the wintry valley away from the piste.

One of these many options is tobogganing, for example. There are numerous natural toboggan runs in the Zillertal, some of which are floodlit.

You will probably experience the greatest tobogganing fun in the Zillertal on the floodlit natural toboggan run in Hainzenberg. 7 km of toboggan run and 600 m difference in altitude, you can reach the start with a cable car. The toboggan centre is located right next to the Gerlossteinbahn valley station. There are several huts along the toboggan run where you can stop for a bite to eat. Take a break and visit one of the numerous inns and enjoy delicious food with a glass of wine. If you don't have your own toboggan, you can hire one on site for a fee.

Hochfügen toboggan run

The floodlit toboggan run runs downhill for over 1.5 kilometres. Unfortunately, the start cannot be reached by lift, but the wonderful landscape and the unique descent make the effort of the ascent a minor matter. Toboggans are available for hire at the Hochfügen car park.

Rodelbahn Almluft

At 1.5 kilometres, the floodlit toboggan run on the Gattererberg is one of the shorter runs, but the magnificent landscape and the unique view from the run make it a real experience.

Goglhof toboggan run

Perhaps one of the most beautiful toboggan runs in the Zillertal is located at the Goglhof in Fügenberg. The floodlit 3.5 km run is regularly covered in snow and guarantees unadulterated tobogganing fun. The start can be reached by car and there is also a toboggan hire service and a cosy hut for refreshments.

Spieljoch toboggan run

The 5.5 km long Spieljoch toboggan run starts at the mountain station and runs to the middle station. Toboggans can be hired directly at the mountain station at Intersport Bründl and returned at the Spieljochbahn middle station. Open daily from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.

Rodelbahn Kupfnerberg Uderns

Beautiful views of the peaks of the Zillertal Alps await you during the 3 km long descent. The unlit toboggan run is a real challenge even for experienced riders.
