Travelling to our 4-star hotel in the Zillertal is refreshingly easy: you can travel safely and comfortably to Kaltenbach in your own car or by public transport. The Hotel Post is located in the centre of the village.
Our family-run hotel is located in the heart of the Zillertal, making it the ideal starting point for exploring the Tyrolean mountain landscape. The access road to the Zillertaler Höhenstraße is five minutes away from our 4-star hotel.

You can easily reach us via the Inntal motorway (A12) – take the Zillertal exit, then continue on the B169 Zillertalstraße to Kaltenbach. Our hotel is well signposted and easy to find. Free parking spaces are available directly at the hotel.

- Deutsche Bahn also offers direct connections between Frankfurt and Innsbruck. Especially in winter, you can use the ‘Ski Express Tirol’, which runs from Hamburg to Tirol - perfect for a stress-free journey to your skiing holiday.
- The ÖBB Nightjet is the ideal choice for all summiteers who want to travel to the Zillertal mountains in a relaxed manner. The night train takes you comfortably to the mountains overnight.

- The Swedish ski express and night train ‘Snälltåget’, which starts in Malmö and stops in Copenhagen and Hamburg, travels as far as Innsbruck.

The valley station of the Hochzillertal mountain railway is only about a 3-minute walk from the hotel – ideal for anyone who appreciates short distances during their skiing or hiking holiday in the Zillertal. Ski hire, a ski school and access to the Ski Optimal Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski area are also located directly at the valley station.
