Where is the Hotel Post located?

Our hotel is located in Kaltenbach in the Zillertal valley, in a central yet quiet location. The Ski Optimal Hochzillertal-Hochfügen valley station is just a few minutes' walk away – perfect for your skiing holiday or summer holiday in Tyrol.

Is the hotel easy to reach?

Yes, our hotel in Kaltenbach in the Zillertal valley is easily accessible by car and public transport. The Zillertalstraße B169 leads directly into the village, and Kaltenbach-Stumm railway station is only a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Even in winter, getting here is no problem – our road is cleared regularly.

Are there parking spaces or an electric charging station?

Yes, we offer free parking directly at the hotel. E-charging stations for electric cars are also available (for a fee).

Is the hotel family-friendly?

5 star experience. Rooms where cozy and comfortable, the SPA with Finnish Sauna and outdoor pool where splendid, and cherry on top was the 5 course dinner included in the room price. They have drying room for ski equipment and the walk to the ski lift was just 400 meters. We will be back!

Nice hotel in Kaltenbach. I was there during summer time and the location is perfect for day excursions in the surrounding mountains. The spa area is great, with plenty of space. Especially the indoor pool, it is fantastic. The dinner was really good and the service very friendly. We can definitely recommend it, specially for families and couples.

The restaurant of the hotel is just the best in the area! Great rib eye, it was delicious and well cooked. The colorful salad had a special sauce that was super tasty. Staff were super friendly. Super tasty and high quality food, definitely recommended!

First off, wonderful staff — you feel welcome and looked after the whole stay. Food is excellent (we had breakfast and dinner), and hotel ambiance is great. Location is ideal. We parked at the hotel and walked to the Hochzillertal lift, just 5-7 minutes. Spa area is super, esp appreciated the heated outdoor pool. Affordable luxury!
