Summer toboggan run and bag jump: In the Zillertal Arena there is a great deal to experience. With the Arena coaster in Zell am Ziller you can toboggan in summer. The bag jump from a diving tower into an enormous soft bag is nothing for the faint-hearted.
The starting point is at the exhibition dairy and the animal park in Hainzberg. Downhill to the root carving workshop and the mineral exhibition then on to the local history museum and the pilgrimage church “Maria Rast” and finally through the forest to the exhibition gold mine. Zuerst geht es zur Wurzelschnitzerei und zur Mineralienausstellung, dann weiter zum Heimatmuseum und zur Wallfahrtskirche „Maria Rast“ und schließlich durch den Wald zum Gold-Schaubergwerk. Once you have reached the top, you can take a steamboat ride across Lake Achen.
Experience how silver was mined over 500 years ago – Schwaz was the largest mine in the Middle Ages! Take the special train to the interior of the mine which is followed by a tour during which the work of the miners in the Middle Ages is explained.
