Everyone can ski in January. Skiing in July is only possible under certain conditions. The Hintertuxer glacier is the only year round ski resort in Austria! In the summer months the glacier with 20 kilometres of ski slopes is mainly used by professional skiers and advanced hobby skiers. The glacier area offers training in challenging conditions.
In the autumn – when you can hardly wait for the first days skiing – or in spring – when you take the last turns – the ski resort on the Hintertuxer glacier offers distinct benefits. In winter the Hintertuxer glacier connects the Zillertaler ski mountains Eggalm, Rastkogel, Finkenberg, Penken/Mayrhofen and Ahorn to form the snow-sure Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000.
